Hello Family and Friends, I do not hope to emulate the yearly letters that Marg used to create, so I'll just mention of a few of the events in our lives in 2024. Note: The pictures on this page can be picked to see a larger size.  In February our first great-grandchild was born: Harper Rose Hubbell, daughter of Heather's son Jason and his wife Sarah, who live in Cambridge, Ontario. Harper is now ten months old, and a going concern.  Harper joins our two step-great-grandchildren, Lucy and Thomas, children of granddaughter Raya's husband Will Usher, who live in the UK.  One Sunday morning in early September, after a normal Saturday, Marg was unable to get out of bed. After some frantic organizing she is now in a hospital bed in our bedroom, with PSWs coming to change her three times per day.  As this is written two days before Christmas our daughter Heather is staying here from her home in Jersey, Channel Islands, until the end of the month, to keep me company and to give me some relief for things like hospital visits, blood tests, doctor appointments, and going to lunch with family and friends. Heather spends much of her time working on her computer at the dining room table. She will take time to visit her son Jason and family in Cambridge Ontario for Christmas.
